چکیده مقاله:

A significant fraction of electricity generated by the network consumed in the household sector. In warm climate regions, electricity consumption at peak hours imposes a considerable financial burden on the subscribers. Therefore, home users should reduce their energy costs by using energy management methods. Electric storage devices, such as batteries, with store energy during non-peak and deliver it at peak hours, can provide significant assistance in the peak shaving. Moreover, the batteries with the transmission of electricity from peak to non-peak hours, in addition to balancing the network load, reduce the monthly electricity bill. In this paper, by examining the amount of electricity consumed by the domestic sector in Iran s provinces, Khuzestan state is selected as a case study for peak shaving. By consider the lithium-ion battery s desirable capabilities, to reduce their initial cost, for the first time in this climate; we will examine reuse of secondhand lithium-ion batteries for peak shaving in a house in the Khuzestan. Subsequently, with the definition of several scenarios, the household electricity bill is calculated on each of them, and the best scenario presented at the end. The results indicate that the use of these type of batteries in different scenarios can reduce the annual electricity bill by 16 to 56 percent per year.
