Use of HAM-Padé Technique to Extended Jeffery-Hamel Flow Problem: A Semi-Analytical Approach

In this paper, combination of the homotopy analysis method (HAM) and Padé approximation carried out in MATHEMATICA commercial software is utilized to accelerate solution of the Jeffery-Hamel flow problem under the effect of thermal expansion. In this way, the governing partial differential equations are derived, non-dimensionalized and reduced to the ordinary differential equations. By comparing the present findings with available numerical, statistical and semi-analytical results in the literature it is clear that the agreement in all cases is excellent. Moreover, it is to be noted that the main difficulty in applying the time-consuming solution methods can be easily eliminated using this combination, namely HAM-Padé technique.
