A Review of Studies on Green Infrastructure Strategy

Along with improving human knowledge and concerns, notions are being discussedthrough some concepts and terms. Some of the terms designate to only one style ornarrow concepts and some others are so wide like sustainability that according toHarvey[1] is a fate that should benefit everybody and so precludes radical critique sincenobody can be against. It is shown that not the key terms encompass all the meanings andconcepts designating to it, but they are reasons, through which, needs, concerns and goalsare discussed, improved or highlighted. According to Harvey[1] relational definition istheir main feature. Clearly, in some key terms like Sustainability or ecology, Landscapeor Environment these relational definitions are obvious. Maybe they have cleardefinitions at the beginning but along with their growth, their definitions become vague. Ibelieve they are captivating terms. In many fields, researchers present their concerns orideas with the help of these captivating terms. Absolutely these terms bring aboutcreativity and new ideas. Notions that may have original definitions, but through the helpof these captivating terms, they may be restated, highlighted or renovated. It is obviousthat common concerns concentrate them around a term and value them this way. Somequestions emerge like whether a term has the capacity of different notions and conceptswhich some of them may be paradoxical (like justice and value in a capitalistic vision).We do not consider these questions, but would intend to explore a new emerging term inthe field of planning with wide variety of concepts behind it. In this paper it is tried tobriefly explain how and where Green Infrastructure is used.
