Technology Identification in the Area of Energy Efficient and Clean Technologies- A RIPI Case Study

In order to explain research plans for long - term program of Energy Research Center - Research institute of Petroleum Industry, there is a need for documenting technology strategy of this center to decide effectively. The first step in defining technology strategy and polocy of an institution is identifying the technology areas related to the institution activities . Therefore , in the project of documenttiong the technological priorities and polocies for Energy Research Center - RIPI, technology mapping is used as a tool to identify efficient and clean energy technologies, systematically and comprehensively. The field of energy is broad and multidisciplinary , this and capital vision of ERC to this field are the reasons of usnig technology mapping At the beginning via strategy analysis, mission and probable fields of activities were specified.
