Role of Triple Helix –Government-University-Industry in Development and Commercialization of Technology

This work aims to study the role of the triple helix –government-university-industry in development and commercialization of technology. To do this, the paper chose the American triple helix as the case of study.Since many American technological outcomes and commercialization trends have their roots in the SecondWorld War, the specific period under study will be WWII, yet the afterward effects will also be considered. The paper will examine the convergence of the arms of the America triple helix, which assisted this country in building on their collaborations leading to development and commercialization of many technologiesnationwide and worldwide. The triple helix model will be conducted as the theoretical framework to developthe discussion
