Background and Aim: Production process in Ahwaz pipe-making factory is similar to other industrial environments due to the nature and type of activity with various hazards. Therefore, there is a possibility of damage to humans, equipment and ... in the event of an accident. Materials and Methods: This analytical-descriptive study was conducted in 2017 years, at Ahwaz Pipeline Company. The William Fine method was used to assess the risk. So that after identification of the plant s activities and processes, the hazards and potentially damaging factors are identified and then, given the severity of the effect, the probability of occurrence of possible consequences of its exposure to humans and equipment, the task of assessment and classification of hazards in accordance with the procedures of the given method Done. Results: The risk level in the Xray operations with a score of 300, a score of 270, a scoring score of 270 and a score of 270 with the highest level of risk, and activities such as overhead creep with a score of 150, Welding ID and OD with a score of 90 And Expander with a score of 90 are at average risk. In general, 109 of the hazard were identified and categorized. Conclusion: Since all high and medium risk risks have a significant cost for corrective action and control. Therefore, the implementation of control programs and the improvement of occupational health and safety not only improves the working conditions and quality of life of individuals but also saves in various costs.
