چکیده مقاله:

Preparation and characterization of α-stabilized Pyridiniumylides and metal complexes in corporating these ylides have attracted much attention. Pyridiniumylides are interesting ligands which have attracted much attention in synthetic, catalytic and theoretical fields of transition metal chemistry [1]. The reaction of Pyridiniumylides of the type NH5-C(H)C(O)C6H4-m-OCH3(L) with PdCl2 in equimolar ratios using dichloromethaneas solvent are reported [PdL2Cl2]. These complex were fully characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques such as IR, 1H, and 13CNMR. This complex has been found to act as efficient catalysts for the Heck reaction. Various aryl halide was coupled with styrene in DMF, under air, in the presence of 0.3mol% of the catalyst to afford corresponding cross-coupled products in good to excellent yields[2,3].
