Nowadays, increasing the efficiency of green supply chain (GSC) and determining tools and methods used for measuring performance are the biggest challenges faced by managers, which have increased competition among companies and manufacturing centers. Green supply chain management (GSCM), along with the performance evaluation aims to minimize the use of energy and material and reduce the negative effects of supply chain activities on the environment. In general, the performance evaluation provides a theoretical and practical overview in green supply chain management. The present study aims to implement the integrated approaches of balanced scorecard (BSC), the ratio efficiency dominance (RED) model and the step-wise weight assessment ratio analysis (SWARA) in order to evaluate the performance of the green supply chain for the sake of supporting environmental sustainability throughout the supply chain. For this purpose, the efficiency of automotive parts industry was evaluated in Iran. In order to collect data, five measures of the BSC framework such as finance, customer, internal business process, learning, and growth were selected and the efficiency of decision-making units was evaluated and ranked by using RED/SWARA method. The results indicated that the proposed model has more accuracy and power for evaluating the performance, compared to previous models. Further the model can help managers to make the appropriate decisions at all levels of management in order to increase the efficiency and protect the environment.
