Introduction: Because after birth premature newboms come in a developmentally improper environment neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), may be they undergo invasive treatment or nursing care in the long time. Unrelieved any of painful procedures or lack of contact between premature newboms and their parents caused adverse behavioral and bio-physiologic outcomes like increased heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen consumption and stress hormone secretion. One of the most important ways to doing best care to relieve the premature newborns admitted in NICU is Kangaroo Care (KC). KC is crucial in controlling the above complications as well as better care of the premature infant s brain. Studies have shown that Kangaroo Care by mother and father Skin-to-skin contact (STS) be effective for premature newborn in reducing any stress caused by neonatal intensive care. Conclusion: This care method was introduced by Edgar Rey Sanabria in Columbia in 1978 as a strategy to replace the function of incubators. After a while, many benefits of doing kangaroo care was emerged: Breastfeeding is exclusive, and discharge home occurs earlier, plus mother, Fathers and other family members can also be providers if the mother is unavailable or has some problems. Also has effect on the physical and brain development of the premature infant.
