چکیده مقاله:

NeuroImaging genetics is new research approach which use of anatomical or physiological imaging technologies as phenotypic assays to evaluate genetic variation. The main question of nuroimaging genetics is how genes influence psychopathology and used functional neuroimaging such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and event relation potential to investigate genes that are expressed in the brain. Today several data bases were established to collecting of combined data of same subjects including electroencephalography, MRI and other imaging techniques and genetic data such as single nucleotide polymorphisms, gene expression studies and epigenetic data. It may lead to understand that how differences in single nucleotide polymorphisms and mRNA levels changes brain wiring structure, and intellectual function. A neuroimaging phenotype is attractive because it is closer to the biology of genetic function than illnesses or cognitive dysfunctions. Imaging genetic approach may help to produce new personalized diagnosis and treatments in psychiatric disorders such as major depressive disorders, schizophrenia and addiction based on neuromarkers and biomarkers.
