چکیده مقاله:

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a natural polysaccharide consist of repeating units of UDP-N-acetyl-glucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc) and UDP-glucuronic acid (UDP-GluA). Although HA is commercially produced by Streptococcus zooepidemicus, its production by GRAS microorganisms is highly recommended. In this study, two recombinant strains of Corynebacterium glutamicum harboring S. zooepidemicus and Pseudomonas putida genes were employed. HA molecular weight (MW) is an important factor which determines its application at different industries. Correlation between hyaluronic acid MW and growth temperature showed that temperature had significant impact on HA MW, but it is remarkably affected by genetic construction of the strain.
