Progresses in EMG based prosthesis control

Electromyography (EMG) is the study of muscle function by signals originated from the same muscle. These signals can he used in different applications. Myoelectric control is an advanced technique concerned with the detection, processing, classification and application of myoelectric signals to control human—assisting robots or rehabilitation devices. Some progression and also challenges to solve drawbacks in this area are reviewed in this paper.
