چکیده مقاله:

In this study, the incremental forming process was carried out on steel tubes using lath machine. In this process, three rotational speeds and three feeding speeds were used to allow the test sheet reach maximum drawing and then tested for each rotationaland feeding speed to determine the surface roughness, drawing depth and the thickness of the wall for all samples, in order to find the best forming parameters. The results of the drawing depth test showed that with increasing rotational speed, the drawing depth increasesdue to more heat generation in forming zone because of friction ratio increasing. Roughness test results also showed that the higher rotational speed and lower feeding speed, increases the surface quality, and finally, the thickness determination test indicated thatincreasing the rotational speed and decreasing the feeding speed, would lead to create more critical thickness and the most critical point of thickness, where the rupture began, is the point in the lowest position.
