Herein, the steady laminar 3D flow of a rotating water based nanofluid over a linearly stretching sheet along xaxis is analytically modeled in the presence of heat generation or absorption, different shapes of nanoparticles, a famous two phase model of effectivethermal conductivity as well as the velocity slip condition associated with Tiwari-Das nanofluid’s mathematical modeling. The present study may be applicable in a number of modern devices e.g. hot rollers, cooling of electronic chips, geothermal engineering and in plasma flows. After using the similarity transformation method, the obtained dimensionless non-linear ODEs are numerically solvedusing the bvp4c function from MATLAB. The physical parameters are solid volume fraction, rotationparameter, velocity slip parameter, heat generation orabsorption parameter and Prandtl number of the base fluid (that is kept constant at 6.2). Moreover, temperature of the base fluid molecules and nanoparticles is assumed 300 K. In the light of excellent agreement of this research with already existing reports, we can conclude that our model can be used successfully in the present research with great confidence.
