چکیده مقاله:

Present research is devoted to propose a new concept for solid oxide fuel cell system integrating solar dish collector. Solar energy is utilized in order to preheat the required air of cathode of stack. In this concept, the sizing of air heat exchanger is influenced by using thesolar energy. Energy and exergy balance equations are applied for the system. A comparative study is performed between the new designed system and the base case. It is found that by increasing in the solar utilization temperature, the air heat exchanger size woulddecrease by up to 30%. However, it is revealed that the highest exergy destruction is attributed to the solar dish collector with an almost 55% because of the high temperature differences are presented in the solar dish collector. After solar dish collector, air heat exchanger,after burner and SOFC have the largest shares of exergy destruction parts respectively.
