چکیده مقاله:

Urethral injury in children is infrequent. Pediatric and adult urethral injury differs in several ways. The male urefhra can be divided into two segments, the anterior and posterior urethra. Anterior urethral injury in children is less common than posterior type. It tends to result from blunt trauma such as straddle injury to the perineum occurring from a bicycle seat or from blows to the perineum from a fence or kick. Posterior urethral injury is associated with pelvic fracture tending to occur with motor vehicle collision, crush injures, and high impact falls. Penetrating injures involving the posterior urethra are exceedingly rare .In this case we review the diagnosis and primary care and options for management of this type of trauma
