چکیده مقاله:

Phosphor strontium aluminate (SrAl2O4: Eu2+, Dy3+) nanoparticles were mixed with polypropylene by an internal mixer to prepare a uniform mixture with polymer. Polypropylene / phosphor strontium aluminate nanocomposite fibers were produced by melt spinning method. Morphological characteristics and afterglow properties of the produced fibers were studied. The results showed that the nanoparticles were uniformly distributed within the fibers matrix and they were shapeless. Excitation time and light source wavelength affected the afterglow intensity.
