چکیده مقاله:

In the present study, photo-luminescent fibers were produced by mixing phosphor strontium aluminate nanoparticles and polypropylene (PP) by melt spinning process. Morphological and afterglow properties of the produced fibers were studied. Moreover, the produced fibers were woven and dyed to investigate the effects of phosphor strontium aluminate nanoparticles on the dyeabillity of fibers. The results showed that the nanoparticles were uniformly distributed within the polymer matrix and they were shapeless. Fluorescence spectrophotometer results indicated that after fibers exciting at the wavelength of 400 nm, they showed an emission peak at 550 nm and had green light. With increasing the concentration of nanoparticles in the fibers, emission peak intensity of nanocomposite fibers increased and the amount of fibers dyeabillity increased.
