چکیده مقاله:
Nano Zero-valent iron is an effective material for dehalogenation of chlorinated organic compounds such as tetrachloroethylene (PCE), trichloroethylene (TCE), carbon tetrachloride (CT), organochlorine pesticides like DDT and lindane, nitro aromatic compounds, and so forth. Another nano zero-valent iron (ZVI) has become one of the most common adsorbents for the rapid removal Arsenic, lead, chromium, cadmium, uranium, molybdenum, mercury in the subsurface environment [1-2]. For those applications, nZVI serves primarily as a potent and yet cost effective electron donor or reluctant for heavy metals in water. It is generally accepted that the degradation of heavy metals in water by nZVI is surface- mediated [3].
