Evaluation of the effect of BRCA1 and BRCA2 on breast cancer incidence

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, and one out of every 8 to 10 women have breast cancer. This cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of the gene on the incidence of breast cancer. In this study, a comprehensive and in-depth review was performed by searching the SCOPUS, PUBMED, PROQUEST, SCIENCE DIRECT, ISC, IRANDOC, MAGIRAN databases. BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene expressions were used for the incidence of breast cancer without any limitation of year. Studies have shown that most hereditary cases of breast cancer are related to mutations in the two genes: BRCA1 (cid, Breast Cancer one) and BRCA2 (cid, Breast Cancer II gene).
