چکیده مقاله:

Music is an art of sound in time, which expresses ideas and emotions of human beings. Therefore, music is the part of language connected to the culture of the nations. Moreover, music is an evergreen teaching aid in language learning, and popular with students as well as teachers. Music not only assists listening comprehension skills, it creates a relaxed ambiance that facilitates the learning process. In The Republic, Plato says that music has to be an important part in education. Music is indeed an excellent vehicle for communication, language and culture, hence thinking of education without a musical approach would be nonsense. Since listening is a key element of the verbal communication process, we spend a good portion of our time listening, and this involves paying attention to what we hear and understand what it means.
