Increase firm competitiveness with green supply chain management

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of green supply chain management on green performance and Firm competitiveness in Companies Industrial Estate Shiraz. To collect field data the questionnaires of Yang et al (2013) which designed and developed for this purpose was used. The questionnaires were distributed among 110 people of the population who were all managers and experts Companies Industrial Estate Shiraz. The research method was descriptive and correlational. To answer the questions and check the hypotheses with Smart-PLS software, the methods of structural equation modeling and path analysis using partial least squares (PLS) were used. The results show that the Internal green practices of the company has a positive and significant impact on the External green collaboration; also Internal green practices and External green collaboration have a positive and significant impact on the company s green performance. Finally, results approve the positive and significant effect of the company s Internal green practices, External green collaboration and the company s green performance on Firm competitiveness. Overall, the results suggest that reinforce green supply chain management will improve green performance, which in turn increases the Firm competitiveness.
