چکیده مقاله:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of emotional intelligence and leadership style ofmanagers with mental health of staff. This descriptive study was correlational. The statistical populationconsisted of all employees and managers of Iran Petrochemical Development Management Company.The sample of this study was 100 people. Of these, 25 managers were selected by random samplingmethod and all of them were selected by random sampling method. For data collection, EmotionalIntelligence Questionnaire, Multifactor Leadership Style and Mental Health were used. The results ofPearson correlation coefficient showed that the relationship between mental health and emotionalintelligence (p <0.01) and transformational leadership style (p <0.01) were positive and significant andwith non-intervention leadership style (p≤0.01). Is negative and significant. The results of multivariateregression showed that 52% of the variance of mental health is predictable through emotionalintelligence and transformational leadership style. Promoting mental health is an effective andconstructive community of society, which is essential for the dynamism, prosperity and prosperity of thecommunity. The results showed that emotional intelligence and transformational leadership style inmanagers were effective on mental health of employees. Hence, planning to promote it is one of theissues that officials and policy-makers need to consider.
