DEVELOPING AN EXPERT SYSTEM FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF CONSTRUCTION FAILURE CAUSES BY USING ES BUILDER PROGRAM

There is no doubt that the appearance of failures in construction projects hasbecome a remarkable phenomenon. These numerous kinds and forms offailures starting from simple cracks to the partial or total collapse of thebuilding are related to many reasons such as mistakes in execution andmistakes in design. These construction failures may lead to disputesbetween the project parties. This research aims to develop an expert systemfor investigating the causes of occurrence of failures in constructionprojects. ES Builder program is used to build the decision tree of expertsystem.
