ASSESSING THE SUSTAINABLE BUILDING MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT NEED FOR IRAQI GOVERNMENTAL BUILDINGS

Performance of the buildings can be measured from two indexes (conditionIndex and Functional Index), while the condition index can be assessesphysically the functional index need a quantifying method for measuring itsperformance. The revolution of sustainability and sustainable requirementscover the functional part of the building performance measurement. Thestudy is suggesting a method to assess the annual building sustainablemaintenance need for different types of governmental buildings in Iraqusing multiple attribute decision making (MADM) approach and dependingon the actual requirements of the Iraqi governmental buildings.
