چکیده مقاله:
In the emerging field of the Internet of Things(IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) play a key role insensing and collecting data from the surroundingenvironment. In the deployment of large-scale monitoringsystems in remote areas, when there is not a permanentconnection with the Internet, WSNs are called upon forreplication and distributed storage techniques that increasethe amount of data storage within the WSN and reduce theprobability of data loss. Unlike conventional network datastorage, WSN-based distributed storage is constrained bythe limited resources of the sensor nodes. In this paper, wepropose a low-complexity distributed data replicationmechanism to increase the capacity of WSN-baseddistributed storage, optimizing communication anddecreasing energy usage. As the simulation results show,the proposed method has been able to attain acceptableresponses and prolong network lifetime.
