In this study, the treatment of trinitrotoluene (TNT) wastewater has been studied by using combination of coagulation and Fenton process and modeled by RSM (response surface methodology). At first, coagulation used as the pretreatment process. In this process, PACl was implemented. In the Fenton process, the produced hydroxyl radical has caused the destruction in the molecular structure by attacking to TN compounds. RSM method has been used for the design of the experiments and modeling TNT removal efficiency. Some parameters have been selected as effective parameters on Fenton process, including PH, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), ferrous sulfate, reaction time and temperature. In addition, analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted to assess the model and determine the affecting factors which have a greater contribution to the response parameters
