Economic-St atistica Design of a Control Chart for High Yield Processes Whe n the Inspection is I perfect

CCC-r control chart is a monitoring tech nique for high yield processes. It is based on the ana lysis of the number of inspected items until observing a specific n umber of d fective ite s. One of the assumptions in implement ng CCC-r chart th at has a significant effect on the design of the control chart is that the inspection is perfect. However, in reality, due to the multiple reasons, the inspection is exposed to erro rs. In this paper, we study the economic-statistical design of CC C-r charts when the inspection is imperfe ct. Minimi zation of the averag cost per produced item is co nsidered s the objective fun ction. The economic objective function, modified consumer risk, and modified p roducer risk are sim ultaneously considered, and then the optimal value of r parameter is selected.
