An Archetypal Criticism of the Symbolic Death and Rebirth in Masnavi (A Case Study of the Story of The Arabian Man of Desert and his Wife from the first book of Masnavi)

Molana Jalal-u-Din Mohammad Balkhy, poet and mystic of seventh century and one of the most prominent speakers of Motasavafeh (Mysticism) is among the highly celebrated poets of Persian Poetry. His book, Masnavi Ma'navi is possibly among the best rhyming couplet poems that symbols serve the poet to represent his ideas and mystic thoughts. Molana speaks his mind through anecdotes and allegories, which give the reader an opportunity to reason and discover a solution himself.
