Evaluating Productivity of production factors of Saderat Bank of Iran using Malmquist Productivity Index and Data Envelopment Analysis

The performance evaluation is always one of the most important management issues. What are the functional units of an organization, has always been important for top and middle managers. So that future planning of organization like budgeting, personnel adjustments expand or re-pack units depend on the functionality of them. In this paper, using Malmquist Productivity Index, the progression or regression of a unit is evaluated. In the present study using the above index and data envelopment analysis an evaluation of the efficiency of production factors for 11 branches ofSaderat bank of Iran (BSI) in mazandaran state in 1380-1390 has been done. The results show that, total productivity of production factors has the average growth of 2.2 percent during the periods under review. Change in efficiency is one of the most important reasons of partial growth of branches in this period.
