Structure for evaluation and supplier selection in supply chain using Interval VIKOR Multi Criteria Decision Making in Fuzzy Environment (A Case Study: Shemiran designs and constructs company)

Basically, Selecting qualified suppliers is one of the most important and fundamental activities,which would play an initial role in continuous development and performance improvement ofcontinuous. In order to be able to focus on organizations’ key activities as much as they could,they try to put more consumers in charge. This research paper aims to provide a new model forevaluating and ranking suppliers. Therefore, a wide domain of literature review has been covered.Furthermore, sets of criteria and indicators, which are related to evaluating suppliers, have beendetermined. Then they will be categorized base on the selected items using screening of smartermethod, users categorize them and screening of with smarter method. In the process of researchthe most influential factors have been selected among a huge number of suppliers evaluatingfactors, afterwards suppliers were ranked using interval VIKOR method. Finally, the best andmost efficient supplier was extracted throughout the model. The above mentioned process hasbeen applied for selecting the best supplier in Shemiran designs and constructs company, and thepremier supplier of materials for the company's financing activities has been recognized among sixoptions in conclusion, considering the results, organizations can take the advantage of proposedmodel that selects their preferred suppliers. Obviously, it could be considered as an effective steptoward improving organizational performance.
