BacillusBacillusArtemia urmiana Artemiafransiscana Artemia parthenogeneticaBacillus circulans Bacillus licheniformisBacillusA.parthenogenetica A. urmianaA. parthenogeneticaspp. are Gram-positive spore-forming bacteria usedcommercially as probiotics in the larviculture of fish. spp. can actpositively on cultured organisms by enhancing their survival and growth,stimulating their digestive and immune systems, and improving water quality.In this present study, grass carp larvae were fed onand nauplii. In probiotic trials, thecombination of and was also added torearing tanks of grass carp at 1×10 CFU/L. Final body weight, specific growthrate, thermal growth coefficient, daily growth coefficient and relative gain ratewere all affected by the addition of probiotic spp. (P<0.05). Thegreatest improvements in growth parameterswere obtained in the group fedplus probiotic bacteria, while the group fed plusprobiotic bacteria had significantly (P<0.05) lower growth parameterscompared with the other treatments.Thus, the grass carp larvae performed bestwhen fedwith nauplii and the probiotic bacteria.
