Organizational Ethics, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of the Staff: A Study on the Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences

چکیده مقاله:

The present study is carried out for the purpose of examining the relation oforganizational ethics with job satisfaction and organizational commitment of theemployees in Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences (in Iran). The study populationconsists of all permanent staff working in the University, of which 103 are selected assample using Cochran formula. The research methodology is descriptive correlational andthe questionnaires of Kadozir organizational ethics, Allen and Meyer organizationalcommitment, job satisfaction Minnesota are used to collect data. To assess therelationships between latent variables measured in conceptual pattern, the indices ofmean and standard deviation are used. At the level of inferential statistics, Pearsoncorrelation coefficient and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS statistical softwareare applied. The results of analysis of the research variables show that there is a positiveand significant relationship between organizational ethics and job satisfaction while it isnot associated with organizational commitment.
