Recognition and use of electronic banking by banks’ employee: Comparing banks in Iran

This study aimed to evaluate the recognition and the use of electronic banking by the Maskan Bank staffand comparing it with other selected banks (Agricultural Bank, Mellat Bank, Eqtesad Novin Bank,Parsian and Pasargad). The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of Maskan Bankin Bushehr province and employees of other banks. The sample of Maskan bank employees was the sameas their statistical population due to their limited number. In other banks, the sample is 384 of selectedbanks employees. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data as one of the common toolsof research and a direct method to collect data. Validity of the questionnaire was assessed and approvedby experts and advisors and masters. The questionnaire was conducted on a group of staff to assess thereliability and its reliability was assessed using Cronbach s alpha coefficient. ANOVA and t-tests wereused in order to analyze the collected data. In general, there was no significant difference observed in thecomparison of the recognition of employees of Maskan Bank with e-banking service and the employeesof other banks of Province.
