Importance of information and communication technology tools among livestock farmers: A review

Agricultural extension services in most of the developing countries including India are usually designed around crop husbandry, while public sector initiatives towards animal husbandry are often dominated by animal breeding and health services (Morton and Matthewman 1996).ICT has been used in abroad widely for the study and improvement of various aspects of livestock production, research and education.
