چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim : Family performance refers to the quality of the family members relationship, interaction and maintaining relationships, quality of decisions and solving family members problems (Silburn, Zubrick, De Maio, Shepherd, Griffin and Mitrou, 2006). Substance abuse is connected with defeat in parenting role, parent-children conflict between, and intra-family conflicts. Searight, Manley, Binder, Krohn, Rogers and Russo (1991) realized that the families of those with substance use disorders showed a higher degree of constraint in expressing thoughts and feelings, less respect for privacy and less trust to others, creating more negative space in the family, more critical and more emotional distance compared to the non-clinical sample. Among the important factors that can have a relationship with family performance is religiosity. Religion creates a positive attitude towards the world and helps the individual survive life s catastrophic events such as poverty and illness. Accordingly, the purpose of the study was to predict family performance based on religious dimensions of addicted women referring to addiction treatment centers in Hamedan. Methods : The research method was correlation. The statistical population of this research included the addicted women referring to addiction treatment centers in Hamedan at 2019. The sample size was determined 108 people according to Tabachnick and Fidell (2013) formula and they were selected by available sampling method and responded to Epstein, Baldwin, and Bishop (1983) Family Assessment and Glock and Stark (1965) Religion Questionnaire. Data was analyzed using stepwise multiple regression. Results : The results of adjusted squared correlation coefficient showed that religiosity dimensions of rituals, consequences and feelings explained 0.39 of the variance in the family performance of the female addicted. Moreover, the results showed that religiosity dimensions could significantly predict the family performance of female addicted (F (3,104) =23.676, P <0.01). Considering the standardized beta weights, one can state that one standard deviation change in religiosity dimensions of rituals, consequences and feelings would cause 0.32, 0.42 and 0.30 changes in the standard deviation of the family performance of female addicted. Conclusion : The religiosity dimensions of rituals, consequences and feelings could explain and predict the the family performance of female addicted. Therefore, it is possible to increase the family performance of female addicted by strengthening the dimensions of religiosity and forging up for the implementation of religious rituals.
