Background and Aim : The aim of this study was to compare the brain/behavioral systems among addicted patients, treated by the method of Congress 60 (DST) and normal individuals.Methods : For this purpose, 180 people of human subjects (Sixty addicted patients, Sixty people were treated by DST method and Sixty normal individuals) from all of the visitors were available in Tehran city to the congress 60 in 2018-2019 and all treatment for the same year and their families who didn t have a history of drug abuse elected and answered to inhibition/activation questionnaire of Carver and White (1994).Results : The results of the variance analysis show that: in the behavioral inhibition variable, the amount of F observed (P<0/01) is not significant. Therefore, the behavior inhibition of the three groups of addicted patients, treatment by DST method and normal individuals is not different. But behavioral activity system were significantly (p<0/01) different in the three groups.The brain/behavioral systems of addicted patients was significantly different from the other two groups; but there was no significant difference between the two groups who treated in the method of congress 60 (DST) and normal individuals. Conclusion : The result of this study is that the intervention protocol of congress 60 can improve the brain/ behavioral systems of addicted patients.
