چکیده مقاله:
Aflatoxins are a group of highly toxic secondary metabolic products of some Aspergillus spp. Aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) is the hydroxylated metabolite of aflatoxin B1 and may be found in milk and dairy products such as cheese. This study was conducted to determine the AFM1 levels in cheese factories of the Iran country cheeses. The method involves immunoaffinity as a purification step followed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with post-column derivatisation and fluorescence detection. For this purpose, 9 cheese samples were randomly obtained from markets and bazaars in Abadan city and analyzed for AFM1 by HPLC. While 4 of 9 cheese samples were negative for AFM1 and 9 cheese samples, were found to be contaminated with AFM1 in the range of 0.01-0.05 ng/kg. Results are achieved as linear range of 0.25 ng/kg to 1.5 ng/kg , correlation coefficient of 0/9998 , detection limit of 0.05 ng/kg , quantification limit of 0.19 ng/kg and reproducibility of RSD=0.0266 ng/kg which show that most of samples contain less pollutants than Iran standard limit (0.25 ng/kg) .
