چکیده مقاله:

With his unique power, Rumi, our valuable poet, has used any masals and poems to stay his own aims; because of his mastery and proficiency in the important languages of the East (Turkish, Arabic and Persian) he has paid more attention to their contents, and its poets’ intended purposes. The contents of these languages are generally different from Masnavi’s. In comparison to Masnavi, Arabic proverbs and poems are dead bodies that Rumi has showed them with his complaining reed; as we can certainly say these original contents belong to him. His poems and ideas are like a rousing and dissolvent volcanic; because he is a burned man who fires in brushwood: I was burned; does anyone want a burned man ; in order to burn brushwood with my fire. Among Arabic poets, Rumi is more interested in Mutanabbi’s poems who are a famous Arabic poet; sometimes he literally translates Mutanabbi’s poems. These two great and famous poets (Rumi and Mutanabbi) have some similarities and some commonalities that well-known proverbs and ensuring well -known proverbs in verse are one of the most significant ones. Thus, the present study is aimed to investigate some examples of common contents (especially well-known proverbs and ensuring well-known proverbs in verse) of Rumi and Mutanabbi’s poems also the study shows that there are some examples apparently influenced by Mutanabbi’s.
