Translation of Bahraini Uprising in English and Persian News Media FromAn Ideological Perspective

Ideology is an invisible force which shapes the mind of society; therefore, it has an importantrole in decision making process of the people in the society. Power institutions namely-- NewsAgencies Political Parties, and even the translators- try to control the decision making part of thesociety. This study is intended to discuss the role of news media in delivering the news concerningBahrain. Within the study, the researchers compare the English news texts with their relatedPersian translations in order to uncover the role of ideology in the translation process
