چکیده مقاله:

The site selection is one of the most important basic subjects for aquaculture in cage culture. Because by cage site section, the cage model (fixed, floating, submersible and submerged) and fish species are determined. In this study, South of the Caspian Sea region were reviewed by existing data sources based on the criteria: the topography (deploy depth, height of the wave, slope bed), physical factors (water temperature, turbidity, suspended solids, Location of catching fish, ports, and shipping traffic location and river estuaries), chemical factors (dissolved oxygen, salinity, nitrogen and phosphorus compounds, pH, some heavy metals and some agricultural organochlorine pesticides) and biological factors (the density of phytoplankton) and possibility of having access (being close to the beach, access to the road and reproduce center, Labs, feed stores) using existing data sources. The results showed that more than 20 meters deep have the talent required for different species of fish in aquaculture. Also, the distance of Kheshtsar area in the city of Mahmoud Abad in Mazandaran province, to Kiashahr area in the Gilan province (243.8 km) is the best distance for deployment of floating cages.
