چکیده مقاله:

Lack of attention to process safety management systems is the main factor of numerous events that are happening in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, each year. Likelihood of fires and explosion are two major hazards associated with chemical process industries. It is the necessary to study explosion and fires together with their consequences for more effective management of risks. The proposed of analyses and calculations are used to determine safe lines and distance from storage tank and their probable consequences, taking individual and societal risk into account and these analyses play an important role in dealing with emergency incident. Accidents of oil, gas and petrochemical industries are so important because of their high sevirity which caused from compact construction, sensitive and expensive equipments. Accidents caused by domino effect are among the more severe that took place in the chemical and process industry. In this paper PHAST software is used for analyzing the jet fire and explosion of explosive materials. Whole aim of this study is consequence assessment of explosion caused by leakage accrued at the most critical. This paper presents a risk assessment for hazards associated with LPG Storage tank that located in Fajr Jam gas Refinery and determine and categorize the minimum distance of pressure vessels from each other which is very important in the stations exposed to high risks for domino effects analysis
