چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aim:Background: Auricularia auricula, known as the Jew s ear, wood ear, jelly ear or by a number of other common names, is a species of edible Auriculariales fungus found worldwide. The fruiting body is distinguished by its noticeably ear-like shape and brown colouration; it grows upon wood, especially elder. The fungus can be found throughout the year in temperate regions worldwide, where it grows upon both dead and living wood. Methods:Methods: This process consists of depositing a solid culture substrate, such as rice or wheat bran, corn cube, wheat straw , saw dust and tea waste. Results:Results: According to the results, solid culture bed containing 90 percent of sawdust and 10 percent rice bran has the highest amount of biomass production in the Auricularia fungus. Conclusion:Conclution: All the results presented here suggest that Auricularia auricula can grow in saw dust solid media better than the other media because this fungus has a lignin peroxidase, so it can degradate the lignin in this solid state.
