The application vegetable oils for flexible polyurethane foams using in car seats

Flexible polyurethanes (PU) foam for furniture industry, sleeping services and vehicle seats are well known in the world. These materials consist of isocyanate and alcoholcomponents. The use of vegetable oils as an alcoholic agent in the production of soft polyurethane foams has been studied in recent years. In this regard, the application ofvarious vegetable oils such as soybeans, sunflowers, and castor oil has been studied by researchers. It this paper, the usage and properties of different vegetable oils in PUfoams were discussed.
