Fauna of Diplazontinae Viereck (Hym., Ichneumonidae) in Isfahan Province

The subfamily Diplazontinae Viereck, 1918 is a small group of Ichneumonidae (Insecta:Hymenoptera) with 23 genera and 340 described species. Member of this subfamily areendoparasitoid of Diptera. Furthermore, identification of fauna of this species is useful for biological control progress. Until now 19 species are reported from Iran. During 2012 collected samples from different cities in Isfahan province using sweeping net and malaise trap. Totally 73 samples were collected consisting 6 species belong 5 genera as below: Diplazon laetatorius (Fabricius, 1781), Enizemum ornatum (Gravenhorst, 1829), Homotropus nigritarsus (Gravenhorst, 1829), Homotropus signatus (Gravenhorst, 1829), Promethes sulcator (Gravenhorst, 1829) and Syrphophilus bizonarius (Gravenhorst, 1829). H. signatus is new record for Iran fauna. D. laetatorius is most frequent and distributed species with worldwide distribution. All genera and species are new
