چکیده مقاله:
Switch Reluctance Motor (SRM) includes salient stator and rotor poles which cause the motor has saw tooth generated torque profile. Thus, while operation, SRM produces torque ripple which results in vibration and noise. These disadvantages can significantly decrease the willing of using SRM for industrial and household applications. The methods of decreasing torque ripple in SRM can be classified as the hardware and software methods. Hardware methods are done by changing the structure of the SRM or its driver circuit while in software methods, torque ripple is reduced by changing the switching algorithm of the SRM. In this paper, a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) was introduced which enhanced the torque profile a 6 by 4 SRM while it controlled the speed of the motor for different loads. The FLC used the real and desired speed of the SRM as inputs and controlled the Duty Cycle (DC) and turn-on instant angel of the switching pulse. It was observed that by using the presented FLC, the value of the generated torque ripple was reduced from 3.250% to 0.589% by the while the speed of the motor was controlled after loading the shaft. Moreover, the value of the SRM electrical efficiency was increased from 62% to around 99.9%.
