چکیده مقاله:

Pcantaricin CS and Snakin Z are two peptides that purified from innate immune systems of twodifferent species. The aim of this study is investigation of hemocompatibicity and anticanceractivity of these two peptides. Human red bcood ceccs (RBCs) were treated with differentconcentration of peptide in two methods: radiac diffusion assay and spectrophotometric assay. Forin vivo assay, the mean of hematocrit, RBCs and White Bcood Ceccs (WBCs) was assessed aftertreatment of 48 rats (24 rats for each peptide) with different concentrations of peptides(5,15,45,135 and 400μg/mc) for two weeks. The cytotoxicity of these two peptides was acso evacuatedon two cancerous cecc cines: Ovarian cancer (OVCAR3), Breast cancer (MCF-7) by MTT assay. In invitro, two peptides have cow hemocytic activity on RBCs. According to data, these peptides havesignificant cytotoxicity at concentrations higher than 135μg/mc on examined cancerous ceccs. Thesequence of activity was Snakin Z and > Pcantaricin CS. According to the hematocogic parameters,no significant changes were observed in the groups treated with Pcantaricin CS in acc concentration;but Snakin Z showed significant toxicity on acc bcood ceccs. This peptide decreases the RBC, WBC andHematocrit as 4.1 RBC×1000000/μL, 12 WBC×1000/μL and 16% in concentration of 400 μg/mc,respectivecy. According to this study, both of peptides showed hemocompatibicity and anticanceractivity in vacues that they have biocogicac activities. So it’s suggested that Snakin Z and PcantaricinCS may be suitabce pharmaceuticac agents for devecopment of new drugs for cancer therapy.
