چکیده مقاله:

Cancer is a genetic disease caused by DNA mutation Which makes disoredr in normal pattern of division and differentiation of cells and eventually formation of a neoplasm. Breast cancer is the mostcommon malignancy and the second leading causes of death in women aged 35_55years. Surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are the common methods of controlling cancer, but theside effects andlack of positive results specially in metastatic tumors, it has led us to discover new treatments.Nanotechnologyhas helped to find and develop new therapies. Metal nanoparticles such as Zn, Ag, Se have different biological characteristics like antioxidant , antifungal , antibacterial and antiseptic. Among all kinds of nanoparticles, Zn O Nps is very important due to their properties such as catalytic, semiconducting, piezoelectric and magnetic. Nanoparticles are synthesized by physical, biological and chemical methods. Biological methods are superior to other ways due to low cast and energy and lack of using organic solvents. In this research Zn O NPs were efficiently synthesized by Amaranthus cruentus plant. Anticancer activity of Zn O NPs has been evaluated by MTT assay. In this method, the cells are seeded in 96 well plate and incubated for 24 hours. After that cells have been treatment with different concentrations (0, 15.6, 31.2, 62.5, 125 ฀/ml ) of Zn O NPs. After 24, 48,72 hours the treatment was drained ,the 5 ฀/ml MTT solution was added on the cells and incubated for 24 h at 37˚C. MTT evacuated then 100μl DMSO were added ,the absorbance was recorded at 630 nm. Our results showed that the Zn O NPs inhibit Breast cancer cells and IC50 about 27,30,32 μg/ml that incubation times of 24, 48 and 72 hours respectively. Zn O NPs inhibited the growth of breast cancer cells (MDA). Therefore, it may be possible to use this Zn O NPs for cancer therapy.
