چکیده مقاله:

It has been reported that loc285194, a novel long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), is often dysregulated in various types of cancer and play a role in tumorigenesis. This meta-analysis was performed to clarifythe potential role of loc285194 as prognostic marker in malignant tumors. An electronic databases, including PubMed, Medline, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science was performed to identify all relevant published studies about lincRNA loc285194 expression from inception to Sep. 15, 2017. The hazard ratios (HR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were calculated to explore the association between loc285194 expression and patient overall sur vival (OS). The Odds ratio (OR) was also estimated to assess the association between loc285194 expression and pathological parameters using CMA software. Three eligible studies were included in this meta-analysis including 308 cancer patients. The pooled HR indicated that low expression of loc285194 was significantly correlated with overall survival (HR =2.436, 95% CI: 1.807–4.240, P<0.001) in cancer patients. Lowe loc285194 expression was significantly related to lymph node metastasis (LNM) (OR: 3.41, 95% CI: 2.06–5.65, p< 0.001), distant metastasis (DM) (OR: 5.75, 95% CI: 2.07–15.95, p= 0.001) and tumor stage (OR: 3.07, 95% CI: 1.89–4.98, p< 0.001). This study demonstrated that decreased level of loc285194 was associated with poor clinical outcomes, supporting the prognostic significance of loc285194 for predicting clinical outcome in cancer patients.
