Background: Children are the largest national capital of any society that today, due to population growth; their problems have also increased, including those rapidly expanding incidents and accidents. Everyone wants their child s life and growth to be safe and comfortable, but incidents are always lurking. This means they are in contact with objects that can cause burns.Methods: This article is a review article and is intended to examine texts by searching for keywords burn prevention, chemical, thermal, electrical, friction,children and... in databases Google scholar, PubMed, Science Direct in the period between 2003 and 2019, as well as library resources under related titles were used.Results: An important cause of death and illness in children is burns and it is estimated that more than 80% can be prevented. According to a study by other researchers, it was concluded that the types of burns in children are divided into four categories: thermal, electrical, chemical and friction, each of which can be divided into many subgroups, and for each one, preventive measures have been taken. Therefore, promotion of children s health is one of the most important indicators of the health of a community and preventing the occurrence of an accident in children requires the observance of safety precautions.Conclusion: The purpose of this study was adopt measures to promote children s health through the provision of prevention strategies for children with burns. Governments should reduce the mortality rate of children through the development of burn prevention programs and strategies to improve the care of children with burns, which can be achieved by increasing the awareness of individuals, especially parents, on ways to prevent burns.
